Pros: Bright, colourful very easy to read.  Excellent General level text book, verging into Credit. Appropriate questions on each double page.

Cons: Lacking Credit level "depth" 

Look out for Int 1, Int 2 and H books too.

A laboratory manual of Physics AH F Tyler varies

The definitive laboratory guide to the AH investigations. Out of print, latest is 5th edition and can change hands on ebay for a hundred pounds or more. You don't really have to pay more than £20 for this brilliant resource. NRH

A number of my Higher pupils have bought the Bright Red book, and all the feedback has been positive. They seem to really like using it, so that can only be a good thing. I haven't looked that closely at it myself yet.
